Mutter Paneer Butter Masala Recipe: A perfect Combination
Whatever may be the style, when green peas and paneer paired up, then always a tempting recipe came out. Mutter paneer butter masala is such a perfect dish which can be paired easily with roti, naan, tandoori roti or even with rice.

Ingredients required
- Green peas (Boiled) - ¾ cups
- Paneer cubes - 2 ½ cups
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Jeera powder - ½ teaspoon
- Garam masala - ½ teaspoon
- Kasuri methi - 1 teaspoon
- Tomato puree - 2 cups
- Salt - To taste
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Millk - ¼ cup
- Fresh cream - ¼ cup
- Cornflour (dissolve in 2 tablespoon water) - 1 teaspoon
To make a smooth paste
- Onions (roughly chopped) - 1 cup
- Cashew nuts (broken) - 2 tablespoon
- Garlic cloves - 5 to 6
- Ginger (chopped) - 2 teaspoon
The process to make Mutter paneer butter masala
1) For paste, add all the ingredients into a blender and make blend them to make a smooth paste out of it.
2) Take a broad non-stick pan and heat the butter, then add prepared paste and saute for 2 minutes on a medium flame. Stir occasionally.
3) Now add cumin seeds powder, chilli powder, kasuri methi, garam masala along with half cup of water. Mix all the ingredients well and cook for a minute on medium flame.
4) Then add tomato puree and salt. Continue to cook for 2 more minutes on medium flame.
5) Now add honey, fresh cream and milk and further cook for 2 – 3 minutes on medium flame. Stir occasionally.
6) Then add cornflour-water mixture and cook for a minute more on medium flame.
7) Time to add paneer and green peas. Mix them gently and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
8) Once done, switch off the flame and transfer the dish into a serving dish.
9) Your Mutter paneer butter masala is ready. Serve hot immediately with naan or tandoori roti.
